I m working in Software company. I would like to Do MBA Which is better either part time or distance education?
Can u suggest me the materials to prepare for entrance exam?And the category have to choosen?

Distance education (esp. MBA) is never of that much help and no organization gives it any value. Try to avoid it.
Part time MBA is a much better choice than Distance but it s far from the full time course in terms of the curse content and the value of the certificate.
You should always try to go for a 2year/1 year full time MBA program but if you cant due to some specific problems then try to do a part-time course from a good institute in your city.
But before making any decision you should try to figure out how the degree of MBA is going to help in your career. It’s a misconception in India that you can get a good salary hike/ a good position (job profile) after completing your MBA. You’re an IT guy and believe me a good technical person is always companies first preference than a students from mediocre b school.
Without giving you any sort of advice I would like to know more about you. Like :
1. The organization you are working for.
2. Year of work experience and age
3. Your current salary
4. Your educational back ground.
Don’t join an mba program just for the sake of a certificate. It’s never of much help you must have a good reason and career prospect behind it else you will regret in future. Few technical certifications might come handy than the mba degree.

I don’t think any one 'll advice you to go to either of them. You have just joined CTS and your package must be around 3 . Forget about part time mba, neither of the above institutes average package (real package) for full time MBA would be more than 3/3.5 so it will be like a waste of time and money for you.
There are very few institutes which provide quality part-time programs like Bajaj and XIMB. Others are just useless.
In your case you should only think about 2 year full time MBA. Nothing else and that’s from one of the top 25 b school.
